Can I use my insurance?

Firefly Health does not accept insurance.  We take cash, checks or credit cards.  We do, however, supply you with a super bill at the end of the visit that you can submit to your insurance company for possible out of network benefits. We are not contracted with medicare so we can not give a super bill to medicare patients.

What is the fee structure?

Illumination Session ($1150)

This is an initial foundational health assessment that includes:

  • 2 hour patient visit

  • 1 visit with our Health Coach

  • Comprehensive chart review of medical history and past labs

  • Thorough exam

  • Customized assessment and plan

  • Supplement and prescription recommendations

  • Two portal messages to ask questions about the plan

  • Membership invitation that expires in 30 days

Radiant Membership (under construction) This is a membership for ongoing medical care that will be a monthly fee and have 3 different tiers which will include some of the following based on the tier level:

  • 1 hour visits with Dr.Merlis supported by visits with a health coach

  • Detailed, customized care plans

  • Portal message support

  • Discounts on professional-grade supplements and personalized recommendations

  • Access to compounded prescriptions, such as bHRT and LDN

  • Access to peptide therapy

  • Access to advanced functional lab testing

  • In development - membership perks such as virtual monthly office hours, curated research articles and email newsletters, to further support your journey

Are you a primary care doctor?

No, Firefly Health is a consult service.  We work with your doctor, not in place of your doctor. We require you to maintain a primary care doctor.
